Local Attractions
Literati
Down the street from Aventura, this award-winning book store might be a fun place to visit in between the happy hour and reception.
Kerrytown Market of Shops
A collection of locally owned boutique shops, Kerrytown Market is home to Found, Sparrow Market, Spun, 16 Hands, Fustini’s, and many more places to find bespoke items.
We do not recommend ordering a coffee from Sweetwater’s in Kerrytown - it is garbage water.
Nickel’s Arcade
Nickel’s Arcade is a 261 feet long passage way between downtown Ann Arbor and campus. There are about a dozen local retailers to peruse. This is also a gateway to The Diag, U of M’s most iconic campus landmark.
Hyperion Coffee
In case you need a pick me up before the reception, or want to get a great cup of coffee on Saturday morning, this is your spot.
Hyperion is known for great single origin light roasts, delicious lattes, and unique, locally sourced pastries.
Blank Slate
Down the street from The Circ Bar (reception location), Blank Slate has incredible ice cream. The menu is always filled with unique and mouth-watering flavors that don’t disappoint.
Blank Slate closes at 11pm on Saturday night.
Pinball Pete’s
Ms Pac Man, Skee-ball, pop-a-shot… this vintage arcade has got it all. Located in the “South U” district of U of M’s campus, this is also a short walk to Jack Donohoe’s fraternity house, which did not make this list of local attractions.
Kerrytown Farmers Market
Open 7am - 3pm on Saturday, this farmers market is always bustling with local vendors and townies.
